Personal Care Worker – Casual Sandgate, NSW, Australia, 2304Closing on: Nov We’re looking for a passionate personal carer to join the team at Calvary St Joseph’s, located in Sandgate NSW. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be an essential part of an integrated team, ensuring high‑quality care for our residents by attending to their personal needs within an established framework. Key Responsibilities Support residents to live the life they choose, encouraging exercise of choice and independence. Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs of residents through assessment and observation. Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse and documented in the resident’s plan of care. Assist residents with personal care and hygiene while encouraging their independence. Qualifications & Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent recognised qualification (essential). Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain (essential). Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia support. Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, show flexibility, empathy and patience with aged persons. Demonstrated ability to provide holistic care and respect for residents’ privacy, dignity and self‑esteem.
