The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate Trainers & Assessors (Full‑time, Part‑time, Casual, Contractor) to join our friendly team at our Cannington campus. The ideal candidate will support the training and assessment of the following qualifications during weekends and weekdays: CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry CPC33020 Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling SAI is looking for the following attributes in the trainer’s profile. Hold TAE40122 Cert IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to undertake the qualification Must be able to provide evidence of industry experience Course will be delivered on site in East Cannington (WA 6107) Can use computers, MS Office, etc. Main Responsibilities Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry‑relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment Marking students’ assessments and providing quality feedback Arranging and conducting WBT visits Ensuring up‑to‑date industry currency Complying with industry‑specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students’ attendance, results, and unit outcomes To be Successful Hold or willing to do TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Must have relevant qualifications at the same level or higher Current industry skills/experience in the relevant industry Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Highly organised and strong time management skills Ability to work independently and as a team member Location: 230 Railway Parade, East Cannington, WA 6107 For more information about Skills Australia Institute, please visit: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
