We’re searching for an experienced Category Specialist to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner. About the Role This is a great opportunity to join our merchandising team as a Category Specialist. In this role you’ll learn lots, including strategic planning and category development. You’ll be partnering with our Category Lead for Pipes & Fittings and engaging across the supply chain with suppliers and branches to support product range optimisation and innovation. Responsibilities Contributing to the development and execution of category plans. Supporting supplier management and commercial negotiations. Collaborating with internal teams to align product strategy with customer needs. Applying operational and commercial experience to improve product performance and customer outcomes. About you To be successful in this role, you will have Experience working in a buying or category role in merchandising, along with passion for all things product Excellent interpersonal communication skills along with a positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and products Strong relationship building skills, you’ll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliers Good excel and Power BI skills are a nice to have, but not essential. You can learn in the role.
