This pivotal role oversees everything from cloud platforms and infrastructure to data governance, cybersecurity, and service‑desk operations. As the Head of Technology Services , you’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and your team to drive strategic initiatives — including digital transformation, ITIL‑based service excellence, and a security‑first mindset. Your day might begin with a strategic stand‑up with your leadership team, aligning on key priorities such as rolling out a new AI‑driven data platform or refining the cybersecurity practices to meet ISO 27001 standards. Mid‑morning, you might meet with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business needs—whether it's enhancing Salesforce workflows or integrating new reporting tools. Afternoons could involve reviewing service desk metrics, mentoring team leads or collaborating with vendors to optimise infrastructure costs. You’ll also play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and customer service excellence – ensuring your team feels empowered and supported. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose‑driven environment, and who can balance strategic vision with hands‑on leadership. You’ll work closely with the Chief Transformation Officer and other senior leaders to ensure technology is not just a support function—but a catalyst for innovation, efficiency, and impact. This is a permanent full‑time role based in our Belmont Office, with flexibility across other MSWA sites. Our ‘must’ Haves Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior IT management role. Significant experience in creating a strong customer service focus. Demonstrable knowledge of project management and delivery of defined packages of work. Experience in the design and implementation of a data strategy across a multi‑platform environment. History of developing high‑performing teams that are customer focussed with a positive attitude and culture. Proven track record of managing third parties, both as managed services and via support contracts. Demonstrated capability to build and maintain key relationships and to manage business expectations. Practical experience of service delivery within a resource constrained environment. Understanding of implementing and optimising ITSM toolsets and processes to maximise service delivery effectiveness. Our ‘nice to’ haves Qualifications in ITIL v4 and associated ITSM toolsets. Technical proficiency with SQL, Power BI, DAX, Azure cloud technologies, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Server, advanced EXCEL. Knowledge and experience working in the not‑for‑profit sector and/or NDIS.
