Contract Administrator - Defence Project | Darwin, NT CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a long-term Defence infrastructure project based in Darwin, NT. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a national design and construction contractor, delivering complex infrastructure projects under the USDoD Defence Program. Our client is a national design and construction contractor delivering major Defence, government, and commercial projects across Australia. With a strong reputation for professionalism and delivery excellence, the company prides itself on fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and issue tender and subcontract packages, including detailed scopes and procurement documentation. Evaluate quotes and assist with subcontractor engagement and negotiation. Administer subcontracts, progress claims, variations, and EOTs in line with contract requirements. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cost reporting. Maintain accurate project documentation and contract registers. Monitor commercial compliance throughout project execution. Liaise with project, site, and legal teams to meet contractual obligations. Contribute to improving contract management systems and processes. Ideal Candidate: Experienced Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor with 2–5 years’ experience in construction or engineering. Background in Defence, building, or civil infrastructure projects highly regarded. Proficient in cost reporting, procurement, and contract compliance. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills. Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced team. Degree‑qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (essential). Local NT experience or understanding of Defence project environments highly regarded.
