Vietnamese‑Speaking Personal Care Worker - Winthrop Location: Winthrop, WA (with flexibility in the South-of-the‑River region for other Right at Home Perth South clients) Availability Required: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (additional shifts available with other clients) Right at Home Perth South is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Vietnamese‑speaking Personal Care Worker to provide exceptional in‑home care for our clients, including a primary client in Winthrop. Your Role & Responsibilities Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Mobility Support: Safe transfers, walking assistance, and positioning. Medication Assistance: Prompting and monitoring as required. Companionship: Engaging in meaningful activities and emotional support. Transport: Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings (C‑Class license & own vehicle essential). Household Tasks: Light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry. Qualifications and Requirements Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Community Care). National Police Clearance. First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working With Children Check. Manual Handling Certificate. NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Module. COVID‑19 & Flu Vaccinations. Full driver’s licence, reliable insured vehicle. Availability for 20+ hours per week (must include Mon–Fri 7 AM–7 PM for Bicton client). Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude. Experience with complex care needs. Medication assistance qualification (or willingness to obtain). Local knowledge of Perth’s southern suburbs. Ability to work sleepover or night shifts (optional).
