Dandenong City Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Division 1 Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Division 1 Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in the general medical and surgical departments at our clinic located in Dandenong, VIC 3175. What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatments and procedures Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans for patients Documenting patient information, including accurate and timely charting of all nursing interventions and observations Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper use and storage of medical equipment Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and healthcare regulations What we're looking for Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a current Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (AHPRA) registration Demonstrated experience in a similar nursing role, preferably in a general medical or surgical setting Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and a passion for the nursing profession Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure What we offer At Dandenong City Clinic, we are committed to supporting our employees' well-being and professional growth.
