Fixed Voice Platform Test Engineer

Overview need more of a fixed person with experience in Ribbon fixed switches Responsibilities Test of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20 Test SIP protocols and testing SIP voice connections to PABX Use probes & analysers and signal generators such as Tektronix Iris (probe solution) and Niometrics (probe solution) Qualifications 6 to 12 years of Industry experience with Telecom background and knowledge. Bachelors degree (or higher) in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecommunications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed or core mobile network manual / automation testing as test engineer with Lab testing exposure. Comprehensive understanding of internet protocols in data, voice and video suites. Experience in design, deployment or testing of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20 Hands-on experience working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX Hands-on experience working using Probes & Analysers and signal generators like Tektronix Iris (probe solution) & Niometrics (probe solution) Ability to understand and assess requirements and processes, problem solving attitude. Very good understanding of Software testing lifecycle, process and methodologies and experienced test engineer with innate ability to identify and resolve issues/defects.
