Executive Leadership Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Vice President to lead, build and grow the Western Australian business unit as part of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President – APAC, the Vice President – Australia West is critical to Sedgman's growth in Western Australia and will oversee the regional implementation of business strategy, focusing on growth, risk management, cost efficiency, and cash flow. Key Responsibilities Integrate with the broader business to enable sustainable growth within diverse commodities including critical minerals. Identify key strategic business opportunities to mature the market share focus on commodity and energy transition. Cultivate sustainable business growth whilst building people capability. Provide strategic and operational leadership to a highly skilled and experienced team to execute the business strategy effectively. Strengthen and build on the existing culture and continue fostering its evolution and growth. Lead, plan, direct, and coordinate the delivery of engineering services to external and internal clients, focusing on cost, time, and quality. Actively support the delivery of projects through provision of engineering services. Lead and manage tactical planning for opportunity pursuit and negotiation to ensure the business achieves their order book growth targets under the CIMIC Group governance framework. Lead by example to create a culture focused on client relationships, innovative solutions, commercial discipline, and health and safety excellence. Qualifications and Experience Experienced executive leader with a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a postgraduate degree in a related field. 15+ years' experience in engineering, project development and project management specifically within the resources sector. Extensive experience leading engineering and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects through both EPCM and EPC execution models. Exceptional leader with demonstrated experience in managing and leading multiple teams while nurturing a strong organisational culture. Strong commercial acumen. Solid experience in Profit Loss (P / L) management, commercial contracts, and negotiation. Deep understanding of the Western Australian market dynamics and a track record of growing market share. Proven capability to build front end commercial strength (pre contracts, estimating, risk).
