Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a senior Contracts Administrator or established Contracts Manager to join our client’s national head D&C commercial construction business in Brisbane. The role is a key part of a growing team focused on health, mixed‑use commercial, retail and education new build projects. Role Overview As Contracts Manager, you will shape the financial, contractual and operational success of up to two projects. Your strategic thinking, leadership and negotiation skills will drive profitability, maintain client relationships and ensure projects stay on budget and within schedule. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and report directly to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective commercial strategies to maximize project profitability. Lead contract negotiations, manage procurement and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Foster and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for additional value. Collaborate with project teams to oversee cost forecasting, financial reporting and risk management. Provide guidance and mentorship to the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes to inform decision‑making. Requirements Based in Brisbane. Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial construction sector. Experience with projects exceeding $50M.
