About You: You are a visionary technology architect who understands that successful AI transformation requires more than just deploying models. You combine deep technical expertise with business acumen, and you’re passionate about architecting AI solutions that drive measurable outcomes. The Role - AI Transformation Leadership: Design and architect enterprise AI solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Implement Large Language Model (LLM) integrations for business process automation Develop AI governance frameworks and ethical AI implementation strategies Architect multi-modal AI solutions combining vision, language, and predictive analytics Lead AI readiness assessments and digital maturity evaluations Design MLOps pipelines and AI model lifecycle management systems Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases Mentor client teams in AI adoption and change management strategies Core AI Technology Capabilities: Generative AI Platforms - OpenAI GPT-4/ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot LLM Integration - API orchestration, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG implementations AI Assessment Tools - Custom HOBA AI maturity frameworks, vendor evaluation matrices AI Orchestration - Kubernetes for AI workloads, Docker containerisation, serverless AI Enterprise Technology Architecture: Cloud-native architecture design and migration strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Microservices architecture and API-first design principles Enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions Data architecture and analytics platform design Security architecture with focus on AI governance and data privacy DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation for AI/ML workloads Enterprise software architecture and modernization strategy HOBA AI Assessment Framework Implementation: Conduct comprehensive AI readiness evaluations across business functions Evaluate existing data infrastructure and AI-readiness of legacy systems Assess organizational change management capabilities for AI adoption Design AI governance frameworks including ethics, bias detection, and compliance Create custom AI maturity models aligned with business transformation goals Develop ROI models and business cases for AI transformation initiatives Experience Required: 8+ years enterprise technology architecture experience 3+ years hands-on experience with AI/ML implementations in enterprise environments Proven track record of successful AI transformation projects ($1M+ budgets) Deep expertise in cloud platforms with focus on AI/ML services Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and generative AI applications Strong background in data architecture, analytics platforms, and data governance Government, financial services, or large enterprise experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred Australian/New Zealand work authorisation required Preferred Qualifications: Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional) AI/ML certifications (AWS ML Specialty, Azure AI Engineer, Google ML Engineer) Experience with specific AI platforms: OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Bard/Gemini Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and embedding models Understanding of AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, proposed AI regulations) What We Offer: Competitive salary: AUD $165k-$210k / NZD $150k-$185k (based on AI expertise) AI transformation project bonuses and performance incentives Equity participation in rapidly expanding international methodology company Direct mentorship from Heath Gascoigne and access to global AI transformation case studies Annual AI conference and training budget ($5000+ professional development) Access to cutting-edge AI tools and platform partnerships Ground floor opportunity in ANZ AI transformation market expansion Flexible hybrid working with option to work directly on international AI projects Why This Role Matters: The AI transformation market in Australia and New Zealand is experiencing explosive growth, but 80% of enterprise AI initiatives fail to deliver business value.
