Our continued growth has highlighted an opportunity for a values-driven Safety Advisor to join our team in St Marys. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our people go home safely every day by driving compliance, training, and continuous improvement across our national operations. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer, you'll help shape and strengthen our safety culture, empowering leaders and teams to embed safe work practices and uphold our company values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication, and Continuous Improvement. Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance and legislation. Monitor and interpret HSE legislation and best practice standards to ensure national compliance and continuous improvement. Support managers and team members in hazard identification, risk management, and incident investigation aligned with our Nine Lifesaving Behaviours. Develop, review, and update risk assessments, procedures, work instructions, and safety forms. Design engaging safety training and awareness materials, from toolbox talks to visual displays. Conduct regular inspections, site audits, and compliance reviews across local operations. Recommend and implement updates to policies and procedures to align with evolving standards and legislation. Champion initiatives that enhance our safety systems, culture, and performance. The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement. In addition to this they will have; Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline. Minimum 4 years' experience in HSE, training, or safety advisory roles (graduates with strong foundations are also encouraged to apply). Proven ability to develop, implement, and deliver safety policies, procedures, and training. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Sound understanding of MYOSH and the Microsoft Office Suite. Valid First Aid Certificate (or equivalent). Qualifications or training in Incident Investigation.
