We currently have 4 active projects in Gold Coast and 1 in North Brisbane, totalling 305 townhouses in the pipeline. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Finishing Foreman to join our passionate team and help deliver our projects to the highest standards. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Foreman to take charge of the internal and external finishing works on our new townhouse project. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, and driving the project to a timely and successful completion. This role is critical in delivering and overseeing finishing trades, ensuring quality standards, and driving the project to successful completion. With a keen eye to oversee trades such as framing, joinery, tiling, painting, plastering, flooring, glazing, and services fit off. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all finishing trades, including carpentry, painting, tiling, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical fit-offs. Read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and details to ensure compliance. Conduct rigorous quality control inspections to ensure the highest standard of finish. Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety (WHS), ensuring all work is carried out safely. Liaise with the Site Manager & Contract Administrator. Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or defects. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or Leading Hand on residential projects, preferably townhouses. Minimum 3–5 years of finishing foreman experience is required. A strong trade background (Carpentry/Joinery highly regarded). Multiple trades qualification or experience is preferred to effectively oversee various finishing works. In-depth knowledge of the building process, BCA, NCC and Australian Standards. Excellent understanding of sequencing for finishing trades. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
