ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Mining Skills Australia (MSA) is seeking Operator/Trainers to join our team. If you are an experienced operator with some hands-on training experience looking for a flexible work arrangement, this opportunity is for you. Successful applicants must be based in Australia. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED / WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent Certificate II in Security Operations Australian Driver’s Licence RII’s/Machine Competencies Minimum 3 years Operating production Excavator/Dozers Minimum 3 years Operating production Graders /Dozers Some hands-on experience with operator step-up and/or refresher training Basic proficiency in using computers and/or Android tablets KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and improvement of production operators Uphold the values and professionalism of the company Proactive and effective communication with a high standard of professionalism Maintain positive self-presentation Understand client needs and deliver tailored training solutions Deliver training on componentry, preventative maintenance, safe operations, and operational efficiency WHAT’S ON OFFER: For all positions, we offer: Flexible rosters with various options depending on roles Day shifts only (12-hour shifts) Travel, accommodation, and meals provided Casual, long-term positions with higher pay rate + Superannuation This role is ideal for production operators with practical training experience who are passionate about upskilling others in a supportive environment.
