Job Description Roster: Monday to Friday (Residential role – Geraldton-based candidates or those willing to relocate only) Hourly Rate: $52 per hour + Superannuation Employment Type: Permanent Location: Geraldton We’re seeking a skilled Loader Operator Trainer who is genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping operators build confidence, capability, and safe operating habits. If you take pride in coaching people from all backgrounds and skill levels and have the patience to guide them to perform at their best, we want to hear from you Key Duties and Responsibilities Training Delivery & Program Development Deliver structured and engaging training programs for both new and experienced Loader Operators Provide patient, hands‑on coaching that supports operators with varying learning styles and experience Lead practical assessments, simulations, and safety‑focused training activities Support onboarding, probation reviews, and annual competency assessments Performance Monitoring & Skills Development Review load data, compliance reports, and supervisor feedback to identify areas for development Maintain an up‑to‑date register of operator competencies, refresher needs, and progression pathways Develop targeted coaching plans that build confidence, correct unsafe habits, and lift overall team performance Work closely with individuals who may need extra time, support, or encouragement Compliance & Record Keeping Accurately document all training sessions, assessments, and competency sign‑offs Keep training records up to date in Litmos and other relevant systems Ensure all training aligns with WHS regulations, Chain of Responsibility, and operational standards This position is open to residential candidates only. Applicants must live in or near Geraldton or be willing to relocate at their own expense if successful. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience operating loaders in mining or bulk logistics environments Proven experience training, mentoring, or assessing loader operators Confident in delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and practical training sessions Strong knowledge of load distribution, weight compliance, and safety protocols Proficient in maintaining training records using digital systems such as Litmos or SharePoint Competent with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and tracking progress Ability to design, manage, and deliver structured training programs Capable of leading and supporting peer trainers across multiple sites Excellent communication, organisation, and follow‑up skills Additional Information Sound like you?
