Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barber to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our salon. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional barbering skills and a strong ability to deliver a wide range of grooming services. Responsibilities Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling with precision and creativity. Stay current on industry trends and techniques to ensure the highest quality of service. Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and a personable approach. Mentor and guide junior barbers, sharing knowledge and expertise to elevate the skill level of the team. Manage and organise the workstation, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards. Keep accurate records of client preferences and maintain a high level of client satisfaction. Collaborate with the salon management team to contribute ideas for promotions, events, and improvements to enhance the overall customer experience. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Barber in a salon or barbershop setting. Relevant Qualification attained at college or private course. Certificate III Barbering qualification is required. Valid Australian work visa or citizenship is required. Proficient in a variety of cutting and styling techniques for diverse hair types. Strong knowledge of current grooming trends and industry best practices. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
