About the role As Salesforce Software Engineering Lead, you’ll shape how we design and deliver solutions across our Salesforce platform. You’ll lead a talented team of engineers and QA specialists to build high‑quality technology for our member and employer service channels. This hands‑on role blends architecture, coding and mentoring. You’ll set technical direction, lift engineering standards and grow a skilled team — all while making a real impact on your career and the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of 3‑5 engineers and QA professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing culture Design and deliver robust technical solutions across Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure and AWS environments Guide the development of integration workloads and architectural patterns beyond the Salesforce ecosystem Drive CI/CD best practices, security scanning and high‑quality engineering standards Collaborate with architecture, security, and business partners to build scalable, secure, cost‑effective solutions Stay across emerging technologies to keep our platforms modern and efficient About you You’re a strong Salesforce software engineer with a broad technical background and a knack for challenging the status quo. You bring a mix of hands‑on coding ability, architectural thinking, and curiosity to improve how things work. You may already lead a team or be ready to take that step—either way, you’re someone who wants to grow, contribute, and shape a high‑impact function. Deep experience in traditional software engineering with Salesforce (e.g. Java, .NET or similar) Proven technical design and integration experience with large‑scale platforms Strong grasp of engineering patterns, CI/CD practices, and secure coding principles Comfortable mentoring, coaching and collaborating across disciplines Agile mindset, with experience in Scrum or Kanban delivery Curious, pragmatic, and confident questioning existing approaches to find better solutions Belong at Cbus We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
