Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, Mernda Community Hospital and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role We are excited to invite applications for the position of Paediatric Allergist/Immunologist. This role will contribute to the development of paediatric allergy services across Northern Health and provide specialist care for children and adolescents with allergic conditions. Key Responsibilities Oversee the Paediatric Allergy outreach clinics based at Mernda Community Hospital. Supervise and train junior medical staff, including advanced paediatric/community registrars. Provide direct and indirect supervision for the Paediatric registrar and Allergy Nurse. Contribute to case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding factors that impact the care of children attending the paediatric allergy clinics at Northern Health. Support academic, research, education, training and supervision in the Unit. Qualifications Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Undergraduate medical qualification as a first degree is essential – MBBS, MD, PhD or equivalent. Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (or equivalent).
