Morton Power Services (MPS) is a locally owned and operated business. We are a business dedicated to delivering underground electricity distribution design and construction services in the Urban Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development market We are seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Estimator / Project Officer to join our team About the Role Compile quantities and prepare estimates for new ‘Option 2’ electrical projects Identify electrical distribution plan changes and prepare revised estimates/variations Order long lead time materials as required Co‑ordinate project requirements with the Construction Team and all internal stakeholders Co‑ordinate with all external stakeholders (eg, clients, suppliers, design houses, Powercor etc) to achieve successful outcomes Knowledge and Experience Required Ability to read and interpret electrical distribution plans Ability to use initiative, commonsense and accept ownership to achieve successful project outcomes Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and detail Extensive industry knowledge and experience in the delivery of ‘Option 2’ Projects Experience in design, project management or construction (particularly in the Powercor Distribution Area) would be an advantage Qualifications Tertiary or Trade Qualification in an electrical Discipline Current valid Construction Industry Card (white card) Current valid driver's licence Why work for MPS Local family owned business Great team environment Competitive remuneration Training provided We are looking for a highly motivated self‑starter who can work in a structured team environment If you have these qualities and are keen to work in the industry please send your covering letter, resume and copies of your relevant licences via the APPLY button attention to Brad McGee, Construction Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr
