About the Role Based out of our Perth headquarters, the newly created Head of Product role will require the successful candidate to manage the ideation through to product and service delivery strategy for a broad pipeline of products. The product pipeline spans software, chemical analysis hardware and consumables plus robotics with accomplished, motivated and talented team leaders advancing the products already in each of these areas. This multi‑faceted role involves strategic planning and the development of robust product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with agreed product delivery timelines across multiple business units. Whilst this is a Senior Management role, you will need to be comfortable working as a hands‑on contributor as well as leading the big‑picture management role working across several established business units. Responsibilities Strategy & Product Development: Lead the development of existing and new product developments ensuring these are well thought through, adequately tested and entirely fit‑for‑purpose and ultimately released at market‑accepted prices. Collaboration with the development and manufacturing teams extending through to sales and operations support. Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with the Board and Executive expectations and requirements. Customer & Sales/BD Support: Work closely with our BD, sales and support teams to refine products, pricing, in‑person and online training whilst listening to and responding to customer issues and feedback. Gather and interpret customer feedback, market trends, and usage analytics working with our Customer Support team. Continuously monitor competitor products and emerging market trends. Innovation & Technology: Embrace and further our innovation agenda, staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and how these could further the company on its mission. Manage the software testing program to gather feedback, track issues, and evaluate feature readiness for general release. Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop the product development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide coaching, clear direction, and growth opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential and deliver their best work. Conduct regular meetings with the Executive Team to ensure alignment of goals, priorities, and strategic direction across the organisation and contribute to Board Meetings as required and requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, geoscience or related field; an MBA is a strong plus. 8+ years in product management within technology or industrial sectors, ideally with mining / exploration exposure. 3+ years of experience as a manager in a software or SaaS company; experience in Product Management preferred. Strong analytical skills and experience presenting product insights based on statistical data. Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud‑based software delivery. Proven ability to manage product documentation or online knowledge bases. Experience working within agile development environments. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Jira Plans, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Office. Proven ability to execute high‑impact commercial strategies that drive revenue growth. Experienced in guiding cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration, and creating a culture of innovation. Enthusiasm, resilience, self‑starter with good interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
