About the role The Coordinator Circular Economy will lead the delivery of the Circular Economy Strategy. You will oversee a small team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable waste and resource recovery solutions. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of circular economy practices, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable outcomes for the community. Key Responsibilities Lead your team to implement the Circular Economy Strategy, manage related projects, and oversee budgets. Provide strategic advice and direction on waste management and sustainability while working closely with the waste operations teams. Advocate for circular economy practices across Council, manage performance plans, and drive improvements in service delivery. Ensure clear communication and timely reporting on progress, fostering collaboration and accountability within the team. About You We are looking for a leader with a strong passion for sustainability and a proven track record in circular economy or waste management. You’ll bring excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with experience in local or state government. Your ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and develop innovative solutions will be key to your success in this role. A current National Police Record Check is required, and some roles may also require an Employee Working with Children Clearance.
