Vice President, Infrastructure, Investments Join Brookfield Infrastructure Group as Vice President, Infrastructure, Investments. Business – Infrastructure Brookfield Infrastructure Group is a leading global investor owning critical assets across transport, utilities, energy, and data infrastructure sectors. The Group manages approximately $191 billion of assets through its private funds and public entity, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners. Assets serve energy, water, freight, passengers, and data across North and South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Location Sydney – 10 Carrington Street, Level 21, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Purpose of the role The Vice President will identify, evaluate, recommend, and manage investment opportunities across data, midstream, transport, and utilities sectors, supporting Brookfield Infrastructure’s equity funds. Responsibilities include transaction execution, due diligence, business plan preparation, and origination of investment opportunities. Execution Lead transaction execution, collaborating with internal partners, business group leads, counterparties, and external advisors. Lead due diligence process and analysis to validate business plans supporting acquisitions. Work with legal, tax, and internal teams to structure transaction execution and ensure documentation consistency. Prepare investment committee presentation materials and bid letters. Present analysis to senior leaders clearly and succinctly. Business Development Support implementation of business development and transaction strategy. Lead industry and market research to develop investment strategies and identify transaction opportunities. Support investment thesis and identification of value creation strategies, developing transaction structures. Network and develop new investment ideas to grow the business. Asset Management Work with management teams on strategic business initiatives at portfolio companies. Monitor ongoing financial and operational performance of investments. Qualifications 6+ years of infrastructure experience as an investment professional or in investment banking. Track record of leading end-to-end transaction execution. Superior financial modeling and due diligence capabilities. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders. Organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in changing priorities and multiple assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting analyses to senior leaders.
