Southern Cross Care WA – East Fremantle WA At Southern Cross East Fremantle we are looking for dedicated Care Workers to provide support to residents with their daily living activities and to help them engage in social and community life. This is a casual role with a variety of shifts available to suit different schedules. Responsibilities Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans. Complete domestic duties as required. Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis. Contribute to creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents. Show compassion and exercise patience. About you Currently working or volunteering in the community and looking for different hours? Comfortably work on your own and in a team environment and enjoy spending time with elderly people. Qualifications A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Care or equivalent. Initiative and the ability to effectively prioritise and multitask. Great communication skills (spoken and written). Attention to detail for good record keeping. Morning and afternoon availability is desirable. Working with us Not-for-profit salary packaging options of up to $15,900 for general living expenses and $2,650 for entertainment benefits.
