About the role As a Risk Analyst within Line 2, you will play a pivotal role in embedding a strong risk-aware culture across RACQ. You'll focus on fostering a proactive, self-reporting approach to operational risk and ensuring effective governance. Key responsibilities include : Conducting Line 2 monitoring and assurance over risk, control, incident and issue management. Delivering accurate and effective monthly risk reporting. Championing continuous improvement in assurance, risk management and reporting. Influencing and engaging with first-line stakeholders to advocate, coach, and support effective risk practices and behaviours through strong working relationships. Providing support and guidance to colleagues within Line 2 on risk management practices. About you Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an enquiring, resilient mindset. Experience in risk, compliance or internal audit, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries. Ability to build relationships and influence decisions through well-reasoned arguments. Proven expertise in controls testing, assurance, and risk reporting for executive and board audiences. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and act with courage when issues arise. Solid understanding of regulatory environments and strong organisational skills. Experience working with risk management systems and proficiency in the Microsoft suite, including Excel. Why join RACQ?
