Account Executive, Sport Specialty Pacific Who You’ll Work With In this role, the Account Executive reports to the Sport Specialty - Integrated Portfolio Team (IPT) Director and is part of the larger Nike Pacific Marketplace Sales team. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams within Nike such as Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth business continuity. The role is based in Melbourne and will involve regular connections to marketplace partners. Who We Are Looking For 5-7 years of overall business experience in field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in sales is highly preferred, with strong working knowledge of sports, the athletics industry, and marketplace trends. Understanding of team sales, merchandising sales, sports trends and sports culture is an added advantage. Proven leadership and teamwork ability toward developing and maintaining high‑profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and organizational layers. Ability to prepare, plan and deliver product presentations, use financial data to make decisions and maximize account profitability, and develop seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans. Ensure timely execution of order tracking, order input, sales & stock tracking, product launch info and other sales‑related tracking and execution. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. What You’ll Work On Drive the Sporting Goods, Basketball Specialty and Distributor partner portfolio’s engagement, growth and profitability. Lead the cross‑functional account team through Go‑to‑Market activities and manage in‑season execution, delivering seasonal commercial targets and identifying incremental growth opportunities. Optimize Nike product sales by delivering accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans. Ensure timely submission of seasonal orders and coordination of order tracking and retail launch information. Drive the execution of the Launch process for the Basketball Specialty accounts. Prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive product presentations to drive sell‑in and sell‑through. Identify product opportunities and implement product strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels of the customer's business. Understand, drive, and scale retail elevation across markets and leverage best‑in‑class examples across teams.
