Operator/Customer Service Officer

About The Role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is looking for a new team member to join our recently established Truganina branch as an Operator/Customer Service Officer where you will be attending to the needs of the branch, including dealing with customer enquires, using manual machines to shape & cut reinforcing bar and supporting the team. You’ll become part of a small team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands‑on experience in steel processing, pre‑fabrication, and distribution. It also opens doors for career progression and development opportunities. The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday from 6:00am‑2:30pm or 7:00am‑4:00pm. As a key member of the team you will: Operate manual benders to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh Operate a forklift Accurately pick and pack orders Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers Provide a high level of customer service Support internal sales processes when required Promote and contribute to a safe workplace To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety‑first culture.
