Operating Theatres - Theatre Orderly - Casual Pool Casual Pool Location : Adelaide Metro Western Categories : Allied and Scientific Health Salary WHA-4 : per hour plus 25% casual leave loading Salary WHA-5 : per hour plus 25% casual leave loading About the Role Working under general direction, you will assist Medical and Nursing staff by performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area. Key responsibilities include : Transportation and positioning of patients. Set-up, collection and delivery of theatre equipment. Cleaning and ancillary duties. Assisting with positioning of equipment, tourniquets, electro-surgery equipment, monitors, cameras, microscopes, insufflators, etc., for scheduled procedures. Preparing beds for post-operative patients, changing linen, applying electric blanket, drip stand, cot sides. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, using modern methods of assessment and treatment in medical, surgical, mental health, allied health and other techniques.
