Role Overview Bar Manager As Bar Manager, you'll be the driving force behind BangPop's buzzing bar, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations while bringing creativity and flair to our beverage offering. You'll lead the team, oversee service standards, manage stock and ordering, and collaborate with management to deliver authentic Thai‑inspired cocktail experiences that keep guests coming back. What You'll Do Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver exceptional service and a fun, energetic vibe. Oversee daily bar operations, including rostering, stock control, and bar efficiency. Contribute to cocktail menu design with Thai‑inspired flavours and seasonal creativity. Work with management to drive revenue, promotions, and customer engagement. Foster a positive, high‑energy team culture with ongoing training and development. Ensure compliance with RSA and licensing requirements. What We're Looking For Experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender looking to step into a management role. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and current bar trends. Leadership and people skills to motivate, guide, and grow a team. Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Organisational skills to manage a busy, high‑volume bar. Ability to collaborate with chefs, floor staff, and management to deliver a seamless guest experience. Front of House Manager As our Front of House Manager, you will be the face of BangPop, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. You'll lead, train, and inspire our front‑of‑house team, maintain high service standards, and collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service. You'll also play a key role in executing fantastic functions and events, ensuring that lighting, music, and atmosphere set the perfect vibe, and contribute to gathering social media content that showcases the vibrant BangPop experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional service. Oversee daily operations, including reservations, seating arrangements and customer interactions. Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects BangPop's vibrant and energetic brand. Train and develop team members to achieve service excellence. Assist in managing staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times and actively reducing labour when quiet. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow. Execute fantastic functions and events, ensuring every detail is flawless. Ensure that lighting, music, and atmosphere consistently set the right vibe for our guests. Contribute to gathering content for social media that highlights BangPop's unique offerings. Uphold and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory and assist in managing the ordering of front‑of‑house supplies. Read, respond and follow up on venue emails in a timely manner. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in a Front of House or similar management role, preferably in a fast‑paced, high‑volume restaurant. Minimum 2‑3 years of Front of House management experience required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Experience in executing events and functions. Knowledge of Thai cuisine and cocktails is a plus, but not essential. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
