Overview Data Center Technician Auditor, GND Quality - ICQA role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The position is part of Global Network Deployment and involves physically walking data center floor space to visually identify, capture and record data. Audit findings are reported through ticketing systems with clear and concise communication to capacity planning. Responsibilities Work with various partner teams to resolve identified issues. Coordinate efforts with peers in other regions. Communicate with various levels of leadership as needed. Maintain data accuracy between data center rack positions and logical tooling. Provide information gathering of data center floor space to validate system information or rectify system inaccuracies where present. Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (especially Excel) Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure 1+ years of experience using Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting, or relevant education/certifications 6+ months of relevant IT experience Physical Requirements Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances Walk job sites in uneven terrain Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs) Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired Push or pull heavy objects into position Work in a noisy environment Job Details Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology, Consulting, and Engineering Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Note: The description includes an acknowledgement of country, equal opportunity statements, and accommodations information as part of company policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
