Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, DBCT P/L operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn’t be possible without great people - people just like you. About the Role As a Public Relations Advisor, you will: Develop and deliver engaging internal communications. Coordinate internal and external events, including annual and ad hoc activities. Support sponsorship processes to analyse return on investment. Update external communication channels, including website and advertising, maintaining brand consistency. Monitor media coverage and provide timely updates and advice. Collaborate with stakeholders to create impactful communication materials, including video and graphic content. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical knowledge in event management and communications and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. What We’re Looking For Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editing ability. Tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related discipline is desirable. Experience in public relations, communications and event management. Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (highly desirable). Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
