Part-Time Catering Assistant | Aged Care | Kingscliff Company: Cater Care Job Type: Permanent – Part Time Location: Kingscliff, Northern NSW (Byron Bay/Tweed Heads) Job Category: Catering Assistant, Customer Service, Food Safety, Kitchen About the Role Cater Care is seeking a Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our team at a key aged care residence in Kingscliff. In this important role, you’ll help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, well‑presented meals and a warm, supportive dining experience every day. Roster: Wednesday to Sunday | 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Responsibilities Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture‑modified meals Serving residents meals and snacks with customer service focus Restocking as required, and cleaning kitchen & dining areas after meal periods Dishwashing and general kitchen duties Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties Desired Skills and Experience Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation, and/or customer service Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential) Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices A reliable individual with genuine interest in working in aged care What We Offer Uniform provided Great range of staff benefits including discounts for 450+ retailers nationwide Support around further training, licensing and accreditations Access to EAP services via Acacia Connection Who We Are Cater Care is a leading, 100% Australian‑owned contract catering service provider, operating across multiple sectors (Aged care, Education, Retirement, Retail and Remote services).
