A privately owned, Victoria-based healthcare network is seeking a proven General Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations across a multi‑site footprint. Success in the role provides a clear pathway to CEO under Board oversight. About the organisation (high level) We're a stable, growth‑minded provider with multiple metropolitan locations, a strong clinician and patient focus, and a disciplined operating rhythm. The environment blends hands‑on operational leadership with strategic growth and modern systems. The role (impact you'll own) Lead end‑to‑end operations across a dispersed site network, lifting performance, quality and consistency. Own the operating cadence and site P&Ls in partnership with finance and regional/site leaders. Translate policy and government funding changes into simple plans for execution. Drive disciplined growth (organic and selective acquisitions) and ensure smooth integrations. Uplift systems, data and SOPs to support safe, efficient care and reliable reporting. Oversee property/network development (leases, relocations, expansions) with minimal disruption. Support governance: board packs, risk and compliance. About you 8–12+ years leading multi‑site operations (healthcare or adjacent services) with full P&L ownership. Proven experience managing operations across a minimum of 4–5 sites simultaneously. Track record improving margin and service quality while scaling teams and systems. Commercial, data‑literate, and comfortable in evolving regulatory settings. Credible people leader who builds trust with clinicians, managers and owners. Australian work rights are required for this position.
