HS & Rail Safety Manager Join to apply for the HS & Rail Safety Manager role at Multicultural Consulting Services Our client is a leading Australian infrastructure delivery organisation known for delivering complex rail, civil and transport projects. Their teams work across metropolitan and regional locations, bringing together engineering expertise, innovation and a strong commitment to safety and community outcomes. With multiple major works underway, they are seeking an experienced safety leader to support one of Victoria’s most significant rail upgrade programs. The position is primarily based in the Melbourne office, with regular travel required to project sites between Broadford and Benalla. You will lead safety teams, support operational decision‑making, and ensure project works are delivered safely and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Rail Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of project safety across several rail construction sites. This role plays a major part in maintaining safe operations, meeting regulatory requirements, and driving a strong safety culture across a fast‑paced multi‑site program. Key Responsibilities Lead health, safety and rail safety functions across multiple sites Develop, implement, and maintain WHS and rail safety systems Provide expert guidance on safety standards and compliance Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigationsCoach and support project teams on HSE best practice Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with the Rail Safety National Law and relevant legislation Engage with internal teams, contractors, regulators and stakeholders Requirements Proven experience in a senior WHS or Rail Safety role (rail or construction preferred) Strong knowledge of WHS and rail safety standards and legislation Experience leading safety teams across multi‑site operations Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Qualifications in Work Health & Safety and/or Rail Safety Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis Proactive mindset with the ability to influence and improve safety culture Benefits Competitive salary package with additional wellbeing and leave benefits Opportunities to work on major rail and infrastructure projects Supportive workplace culture with strong focus on safety and development Training, progression pathways and professional development programs Flexible working options tailored to individual needs How To Apply Please email your resume to: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
