Horizontal Driller / Telecommunication lines worker Allwest Drilling Pty Ltd are a privately owned West Australian business located in Karratha, servicing the Pilbara area. Specialising in Horizontal Directional Drilling and Civil Construction. What we are looking for Due to continued growth in the Pilbara and a new telecommunications contract starting in Karratha, Allwest Drilling are seeking experienced Directional Drillers / Telecommunications line workers on a 3 on 1 off FIFO roster across several projects in the Northwest. Interstate workers are encouraged to apply. Duties will include but are not limited to Installing underground cables. Running of Mud Mixing Systems. Operating Excavators. Reading plans and recording daily logs. Locating services. Loading and pulling pipe. Building joints and testing fibre networks. Operating Ditch Witch Drill Rigs – 9/22's, 30/20's, JT60 A/T and JT100 A/T. Following drawings and specifications to determine positioning of underground cables and equipment required. Working unsupervised in a team environment with strong communication skills and a mature work ethic. Qualifications 3 years or more of work experience with trenchless technologies equipment. Experience locating and protecting underground services. Excavator ticket an advantage. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Construction Industry White Card. Rio Tinto Inducted an advantage.
