Location: Flexible (Hybrid – ACT or any Australian state or territory) Duration: 9 months + possible 12-month extension Start Date: December/January 2025 Hours: Full-time, 8 hours per day Security Clearance: Must hold Baseline Clearance (mandatory) Closing date: 11 November 2025 Support a major information governance uplift and help streamline digital records across Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. We’re seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator / Records Manager to join a government information governance team. You’ll play a key role in optimising SharePoint for records management, ensuring compliance, and improving usability across business areas. About the Role You’ll configure and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, and metadata to support effective records management. Working with business and technical teams, you’ll ensure alignment between compliance requirements, business needs, and SharePoint capabilities. This role will also support a SharePoint remediation project, aimed at building a modern, structured and compliant records management framework. Key Responsibilities Configure SharePoint sites, libraries, and content types to support recordkeeping Develop metadata, taxonomy, and retention schedules aligned with regulatory requirements Provide staff training and guidance on records management best practice Manage permissions, access controls, and content security Collaborate with IT and business units to enhance usability and compliance Recommend improvements to strengthen information governance What You’ll Bring Experience in records or information management within SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Knowledge of records compliance frameworks and government information standards Demonstrated ability to design, implement and administer information governance structures Excellent collaboration and communication skills Ability to provide guidance, training, and documentation for business users Desirable Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation Familiarity with Microsoft Purview retention labels and policies Apply now to help shape better information governance and drive SharePoint excellence across a national organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
