Network Planning Lead

The RoleThe Network Planning Lead, through their understanding of network planning and, at a higher level, power systems modelling will contribute to the network's augmentation to meet the needs of the energy transition. They will advocate proposed plans with key stakeholders such as VicGrid and develop frameworks and policies to support transmission development.
The RequirementsThe basis of this role's outputs are market simulation studies, generation and transmission development scenarios.
Applicants will need to show expertise in the following areas;A tertiary qualification in engineeringTransmission network planningExcellent knowledge of the National Electricity MarketAptitude in building strong stakeholder relationsExcellent understanding of the commerciality of such augmentation projectsThe WhyOne of Australia's leading owner operators of energy networksA pivotal role in Australia's energy transitionA expert peer group of energy network thought leadersExcellent medium and long term career prospectsPlease apply via the link or contact Tim Venn for more information;
