Canberra CBD / WFH (Hybrid) 6 Months (+extensions) Top Daily Rates Interviewing Mid-November - Apply Now Job details My client, a major Federal Government organisation urgently requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to serve as a dedicated escalation point for our current Network Project, for this 6 month contract role based in Canberra. The main focus of this role is to act as primary contact to aid in resolving complex technical issues, answering technical questions, and providing expert guidance on Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiGate, Azure NVA deployments, FortiClient, FortiSASE, and FortiSandbox. Skills required 7+ Years total experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in total Proven experience working in a contemporary, secure ICT environment with expertise in technical services, particularly in : Azure Cloud Infrastructure, FortiGate Firewalls, Fortinet SD-WAN, Fortinet Azure NVA deployments, FortiClient, FortiSASE, FortiSandbox Proven Network Mapping experience : Ability to map data movements across network zones and cross-domain environments Visio Proficiency : Strong skills in creating detailed network diagrams using Microsoft Visio. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Desirable Certified in IT Infrastructure (Azure Cloud, Fortigate etc.) Experience of large complex environments (Telco, Government, Banking etc. You must be based in Canberra (or willing to relocate), be an Australian Citizen and has AGVSA Baseline-level security clearance (or higher) to be considered.
