Role Overview Exciting full-time contract position opened for a medical technician at our clinic in Dallas VIC 3047. You have the opportunity to join a team of experienced healthcare practitioners and staff at Doy Street Medical Centre who are committed to providing quality family medical care. The modern facility provides dedicated General Practice, Physiotherapy alongside treatment and procedural areas with Nursing support and Pathology. The centre is open 365 days a year, offers GP appointments with a majority of services bulk billed. We offer minor, in-clinic surgeries, hair transplant and we have a fully equipped skin cancer clinic. A Medical Technician will play a vital part in our clinic by providing support for our physicians. Job Details Location: Doy Street Medical Centre, Dallas VIC 3047 Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year (or $75,000pa to $80,000pa) Full time; contract position; operating room. Requirements Looking for candidates available to work:Mon morning Mon afternoon Tue morning Tue afternoon Wed morning Wed afternoon Thu morning Thu afternoon Fri morning Fri afternoon Sat morning Sat afternoon Sun morning Sun afternoon 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year Qualifications A related qualification AQF Diploma or higher At least 2 years’ experience working as a medical-technician in operating rooms Experience working as part of an operating room surgical team Experience working with surgeons/general practitioners for skin procedures and hair transplants Ability to work alone as well as part of a team Advanced knowledge of biology and chemistry and various medical equipment and tools A strong understanding of the medical field and medical technology Strong work ethic, the desire and ability to solve problems under pressure Strong and effective communication skills Daily Duties Operate medical testing and operating theatre equipment, perform and assist with laboratory tests, and fill prescriptions in support of our health professionals Operate and work with various medical equipment and tools in operating theatre Working with surgeons/general practitioners in the operating room during skin procedures and hair transplant sessions Working as part of an operating room surgical team Maintaining laboratory inventory levels and, if necessary, place orders for new supplies Provide medical technology information by answering questions and requests Prepare reports of technological findings by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information Collaborates with doctors, nurses and other medical staff and performs lab testing to assist with patient care and treatment How to Apply To discuss this opportunity, please send your resume and relevant qualification documents with a cover letter to: **************@gmail.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
