As an Activities Worker, you will assist clients to participate in social support programmes that are reflective of their goals and priorities. Activities are run both as a 1:1 ratio, as well as in small groups, providing clients with a range of engaging options that promote and support their wellbeing. Social support programmes aim to allow our clients to remain engaged with their communities through a range of service options that are delivered in line with client preferences, to aid them to live their BEST lives. In this role you will be directly contributing to the overall care of our clients – ensuring that the activities provided are working towards their goals. In this role, you will Conduct and assist individual and group programmes that are respectful and reflective of the goals and priorities of our clients Support our care staff with assessments, review and the ongoing evaluation of Client's goals Provide clients with specific activities reflective of their goals and priorities, through centre based activities, virtual platforms and 1:1 social support that may occur in the home or in the community Encourage and support clients to maximise their independence Contribute to the development of new, innovative programmes based on formal and informal feedback from clients, carers and other stakeholders Maintain an environment that provides privacy and dignity for the client About you You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients, to support them to live life to their potential.
