Your Role as a Behaviour Therapist at daar Be a dedicated member of the team by positively shaping lives through the principles and practices of behaviour therapy. Utilise assessment tools to conduct behavioural assessments and analysis to develop behaviour support plans. Implement behaviour support plans and review them as per NDIS guidelines. Ensure practices and interventions align with NDIS Quality and Safeguards, NDIS Restrictive Practices, and Behaviour Support guidelines. Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver improved health outcomes. Understand other models of practice complementary to Positive Behaviour Support, such as environmental enrichment and person-centred active support. Manage a caseload of children, young people and adults with a disability, providing assessment, consultation, intervention planning, and program development, including those with complex needs or challenging behaviour. Deliver therapeutic interventions for people with a disability and their families and carers. Communicate with individuals, families and other professionals to ensure appropriate intervention is delivered. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs for children receiving more than one allied health service, particularly for autism and complex developmental needs. Responsibilities Work with individuals to address behavioural challenges using evidence-based techniques. Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans to promote positive behaviour changes.
