Principal Adviser Operational Performance and Governance

| | || --- | --- || Workplace Location | Brisbane - West |**The primary accountabilities of the Principal Advisor - Operational Performance and Governance include:*** Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.* Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance frameworks and compliance systems to ensure accountability, transparency, and risk mitigation.* Maintain the Business Unit's risk register, business continuity plans and service delivery statement.* Provide expert advice to senior management and executives on operational performance, policy, action plans and strategic initiatives.* Conduct statistical analysis to provide performance and trend reports to support effective performance monitoring.* Identify and address performance shortfalls and non-compliance issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.* Manage the preparation of high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance service delivery, performance metrics and collaboration for all areas of the Business Unit.* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within the Business Unit.* Lead and mentor staff to build their capabilities to ensure the effective delivery of strategic objectives.The role description provides the minimum requirements for the role.
