Lead Installer & Crew Supervisor (Fences & Gates) Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and occasional Western Suburbs Full time, Salary package negotiable: $100k to $150k , depending on experience Grays Fences & Gates is expanding across Geelong and the Surf Coast. The owner has recently exited a successful business and is now focused on scaling this one properly. The goal is straightforward: Build the most reliable, high‑standard fencing business in the region and create a team of people who take pride in the work they deliver. We’re now hiring a Lead Installer & Crew Supervisor to run installs on site, uphold workmanship and help develop the team as we grow. This role begins January 2026 after our Christmas shutdown. Role This role is for an experienced installer who wants more than just digging holes and pushing panels together. As the business grows, you’ll spend less time on the tools and more time: training new installers supervising the crew taking on complex and high‑value installs guiding standards and workflow helping shape how our installation teams operate This role has genuine progression. If you’re strong on the tools and good with people, this position becomes a leadership pathway as we build multiple teams through 2026 and 2027. You will not be quoting, estimating or chasing clients. Your job is to lead, build and set the standard. What You’ll Do Lead installations across timber, Colorbond, chainlink, commercial, front fences and gates Supervise junior installers and help build their skills Maintain workmanship standards on every job Plan installs properly and problem‑solve on site Coordinate with specialist trades when required Work directly with the owner to shape systems, culture and installation processes Support the growth of new installation teams as the business scales What We’re Looking For Strong experience across timber, Colorbond, chainlink and commercial fencing Someone who takes pride in workmanship and cares about the details A natural leader who wants responsibility and influence White card Someone who wants long‑term progression and a role that actually leads somewhere What You Get Negotiable salary package: $100k to $150k , depending on experience Autonomy to get the job done right Flexible hours, tools and vehicle negotiable The chance to influence standards, culture and training from the start A business led by someone who has grown multiple operations before and knows how to scale properly About Us Grays Fences & Gates is built on simple values.
