Retail Food Group (RFG) is looking for a Graphic & Motion Designer to create impactful designs and animations that elevate our multi-brand portfolio across print, digital, and in-store experiences You’ll play a key role in designing creative assets and visual materials that bring our brands to life — including Donut King, Crust, Gloria Jean’s, Brumby’s Bakery, Beefy’s Pies, Firehouse Subs, Pizza Capers, Rack ‘Em Bones, The Coffee Guy, Cafe2U, and Michel’s This position is full time based in our Gold Coast Head Office location, with a mix of office/WFH arrangements available. What you’ll be doing Design and animate engaging visual assets across print, digital, packaging, and in-store displays. Bring brand stories to life through motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and campaign content across multiple RFG brands. Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and Digital teams to interpret briefs, develop concepts, and deliver on creative objectives. Manage multiple projects, prioritise briefs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment. Liaise with suppliers, printers, and digital partners to ensure high-quality and technically sound output. Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and studio meetings. Maintain brand consistency, organised file management, and adherence to legal and accessibility standards. Stay across emerging design, animation, and AI tools—sharing new ideas and contributing to a positive, solutions-focused creative culture. What we’re looking for We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven designer who brings creativity, technical skill, and storytelling together seamlessly. You’ll have a strong eye for layout, motion, and brand consistency, with proven experience designing across both print and digital platforms. A natural collaborator, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment—balancing creative flair with commercial understanding to deliver work that inspires, engages, and drives results. You’ll also bring: A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Motion Design, or a related field. 3–5 years’ experience in a graphic or motion design role—agency, in-house, or freelance. Proven ability to design across print and digital with strong layout, visual storytelling, and brand alignment skills. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) plus motion/3D tools such as After Effects, Blender, or Cinema 4D. A strong portfolio showcasing both static and animated work across multiple formats. Solid understanding of print production, colour management, and screen specifications. Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience using collaboration tools such as Monday.com or Asana. A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced studio. Experience in retail, FMCG, or QSR environments (highly regarded). A passion for creating designs that not only look great—but drive engagement and customer conversion.
