About the Role As a casual Exam Supervisor, you will work as part of a small team to supervise and support written Certificate of Competence exams for the NSW Resources Regulator – Mining Competencies and Authorisations Unit. Your Responsibilities Unpacking and setting up the exam room with materials to facilitate exams (no heavy manual handling with furniture) Supervising exams for periods of up to 3.5 hrs each, possibly across a morning or afternoon, by communicating and applying requirements Facilitating the submission of exam papers and packing up materials after exams Qualifications & Requirements Personal attributes of punctuality, reliability, discretion, tact, and attention to detail Commitment to upholding fairness and equality, following procedures, and maintaining confidentiality and information security Prior exam supervision or similar administrative roles in government or comparable processes (ideal) Compliance with pre‑employment probity screening (mandatory) Minimum of 2 supervisors employed on each day to manage an exam, depending on the number of candidates sitting Actual working hours vary according to the number and type of examination papers, resulting in a second half day of employment for some certificates How to Apply If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with an ideally no more than one‑page cover letter outlining your suitability and interest in this role, with your resume (ideally no more than three pages) by Thursday 11th December 2025 .
