Personal Care Worker - Sydney Sutherland Shire NOTE: This job can longer be applied for. Description We are looking for experienced Support Workers/Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality service in Aged Care and Disability Support. Your New Role: Personal Care duties: assist customers with activities of daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility Social support duties: transportation to shopping, medical appointments and social outings Requirements Valid Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services/ completed 1st year of a Nursing degree Satisfactory Australian National Police Check. Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate. Must be living within15-20km radius to Sutherland shire and enjoy a convenient commute and support your local community Be authorised to work in Australia Qualifications A successful candidate will have the following: Ability to provide personal and domestic care with joy and kindness - Empathy is essential A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people. Excellent written and verbal skills as you will have to communicate with clients and our team. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team. High level of time management and organisational ability. Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities.
