The Opportunity As a Mobile Automation Engineer, you’ll work within an Agile squad responsible for ensuring quality across native iOS and Android applications. You’ll help design and maintain automation frameworks, execute end-to-end mobile test suites, and contribute to continuous improvement across digital delivery pipelines. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA peers to identify issues early, improve app stability, and uplift automation maturity across the mobile testing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for native mobile apps (iOS & Android). Perform manual and exploratory testing for new features and releases. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Support API and backend testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Analyse test results, identify defects, and ensure issues are tracked to resolution. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across automation and quality practices. Skills & Experience Minimum 4+ years’ experience in software testing with 2+ years in mobile app testing. Hands-on experience in mobile automation using Playwright, Appium, or similar tools. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Experience testing APIs, mobile UI, and backend integrations. Strong knowledge of Agile testing processes and defect management tools (Jira, Confluence). Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
