About the Role We are seeking experienced Security Control Room Operators to join our team at an iconic corporate location in the heart of Brisbane CBD. This is a full-time position only , working 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster of days and nights, 7 shifts over a 2‑week cycle . In this critical role, you will monitor, coordinate, and respond to security operations, ensuring the safety of staff, tenants, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to detect and respond to security concerns. Operate and manage Gallagher Access Control System to ensure secure entry and exit. Manage Schindler Lift Control System to coordinate authorised lift access. Control access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel and contractors enter. Manage communication channels, coordinating with Security Officers and Rovers during incidents. Document and report all incidents accurately, maintaining detailed logs. Analyse data and trends to improve safety measures and operational efficiency. Provide clear instructions and support to on-ground security staff. Uphold exceptional customer service standards while maintaining a professional presence. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Control Room Security role , ideally within A-grade corporate buildings or precincts. Strong knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems , including Gallagher Access Control . Experience with Schindler Lift Control System highly regarded. A valid QLD Security Licence (Control Room Operator endorsement highly preferred). Current Senior First Aid Certification . Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Experience in contractor/visitor management, reception duties, and loading dock control. Basic Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy. Reliable transport and full working rights in Australia. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing needs. Passion and drive to succeed, with a desire to upskill and advance.
