Securecorp, a leading provider of security, cleaning, electronics, and monitoring services nationwide, seeks a Control Room Operator for our Melbourne CBD and Parkville teams. About the Opportunity This Casual role offers the chance to develop skills, work with advanced security technologies, and support a critical environment that values precision and reliability. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor, operate and review CCTV system. Communicate and liaise with emergency services and internal/external stakeholders. Maintain and produce accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities, and visitor logs. Critically assess and respond to risk situations in line with standard operating procedures. Operate a two‑way radio communication network for security personnel and manage deployment of staff. Control access for personnel, employees, and visitors. Participate in ongoing training programs and exercises. Key Selection Criteria Current Security Licence with Control Room endorsement. Hepatitis B & Influenza Certificate (current and proof required). Strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette. Experience working in fast‑paced teams and using Fire‑Panels. Knowledge of Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, or PassagePoint. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Valid driver’s licence with transport. Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently. Employee Benefits Recognition and rewards for achievements.
