About The Opportunity Securecorp invites you to join our team as a Full‑Time Control Room Operator at Southgate, Melbourne CBD. This role requires extensive security experience in the retail space and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a control room. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to supervise and run the team from time to time, earning the supervisor allowance. Duties And Responsibilities Deliver exceptional security and customer service Manage access control and fire panels Supervise and run the team on shift Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support Assess and address potential risks Write incident reports and maintain data logs Key Selection Criteria Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification Have proven experience in the security industry – Retail Space Must have 2 years minimum experience in the Control Room and the endorsement on the security license Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal Can work collaboratively in a team or independently Rostered Hours Full time 12 hour rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
