Clinical Nurse Educator – Neurology South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 sq. km across the southern half of Perth. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783‑bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‑built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. Key Responsibilities Identifies strategies to promote and embed a learning culture that supports positive patient outcomes and delivery of a patient centred service. Collaborates with the Unit Manager in development and management of orientation and performance development programmes to meet the education and training needs of nursing/midwifery staff within the unit. Collaborates with the Unit Manager to determine personal and professional competencies integral to care delivery in the local unit and required of nursing/midwifery staff. Under the direction of the Unit Manager oversees all individual staff performance appraisal and development activities within the unit.
